Plan with confidence

Questions, answered.

Everything you need for a relaxed first visit, from membership and dress to privacy, access and venue etiquette.

01 / Getting started

Your first visit

A first night should feel exciting, straightforward and entirely at your own pace.

What do we need to do before visiting?

Complete the appropriate membership application before travelling. We review applications as quickly as possible and will confirm the next step. Every new visitor must bring valid photo identification.

What should we expect on a first visit?

Expect a warm welcome and a venue tour. Our team will explain how the different areas work, answer questions and give you time to settle in. Treat it as a good night out with friendly, open-minded people; there is no pressure to do anything beyond enjoying the atmosphere.

What should we bring?

Bring your membership card if you have one, or valid photo ID if you are new. Bring a payment card or cash for admission and the bar. Towels are provided for the wet area, and lockers are available with a refundable deposit.

Do we have to take part or dress down?

No. You can socialise, dance, enjoy the bar and explore the venue without taking part in anything else. There is no compulsory dress-down time, and your boundaries should always be respected. Speak to a member of staff if they are not.

02 / Membership

Joining and entry

Membership helps us protect the balance, safety and character of the club.

What identification do we need?

Xtasia is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. Each new member must provide valid photo ID so we can confirm identity and age. If your document does not show your current address, please bring recent supporting proof of address.

How does single male membership work?

Single male places are managed carefully to maintain a comfortable event balance. Complete the application fully, including relevant experience and community profiles where applicable. Acceptance depends on capacity as well as the quality of the application.

What happens if a couple changes?

A couples membership belongs to the named pair. A new partnership requires a new application and identification for both people. The named female member may attend alone; the named male member cannot use a couples membership for solo entry.

What if we cannot find our membership card?

Bring photo ID and reception can locate an existing membership record. A replacement card can be arranged if needed.

Do we need to be on a guestlist?

Ordinarily, active members do not need to join a public guestlist to attend. Guestlists are useful for showing interest and may occasionally be linked to an event offer or prize. Always check the individual event listing for any special booking requirements.

03 / Planning your visit

Before you set off

A little preparation means more time to relax once you arrive.

What is the dress code?

For weekend club nights, dress as you would for a polished night out: clean, smart and considered. Sportswear and scruffy trainers are not suitable. Fetish events welcome black, alternative, leather, latex and creative themed looks, although a specialist outfit is not compulsory unless the event listing says otherwise. Changing areas are available.

How busy will the club be?

Attendance varies from event to event and can change right up to opening. The event page and guestlist are the best guide, but neither can guarantee final numbers. Quieter evenings offer more space to talk; major events bring a livelier atmosphere.

What are the last entry and re-entry rules?

Last entry is normally 1am when the main club closes at 3am, and 11pm for weekday sessions ending at midnight. Check the event listing for exceptions. Re-entry is usually possible; tell the door team before leaving so your admission is recognised when you return.

Can we bring our own drinks?

No. Xtasia has a fully licensed bar serving alcoholic, alcohol-free and soft drinks. Outside drinks cannot be taken into the venue, and drinks cannot leave the licensed premises. Please drink responsibly; anyone who becomes intoxicated may be refused service and asked to leave.

Where can we smoke or vape?

The indoor venue is smoke-free. Please use the designated covered smoking and vaping areas outside. Chewing gum is not permitted because of the damage it causes around the venue; mints are available at reception.

04 / Venue standards

Privacy, consent and access

Clear standards help everyone feel comfortable, respected and secure.

Can we use phones or take photographs?

No photography or recording is permitted during normal club sessions. Phones and other recording devices must be left securely at reception and may only be accessed there. Anyone attempting to record inside the venue will be asked to leave.

How does consent work at Xtasia?

Conversation comes first, and a clear invitation is required before joining anyone. A polite no must be accepted immediately and without argument, at any point. Unwanted pressure, persistent approaches or disrespectful behaviour should be reported to staff.

What etiquette applies at fetish and BDSM events?

Do not interrupt a scene, crowd the people involved or assume participation is welcome. Keep a respectful distance and wait for an unmistakable invitation. Event hosts and staff can explain the etiquette if you are new or uncertain.

Is the venue accessible?

Xtasia occupies an older, multi-level building with several staircases. Much of the main club can be made wheelchair accessible by prior arrangement, but some areas and facilities remain difficult to reach. Contact us before travelling so the team can discuss your needs and prepare the appropriate entrance and ramp.

Where is CCTV used?

CCTV covers selected entrances, reception, cloakroom, bar, staff and safety-critical areas. It is used for security and venue safety, with access to recordings tightly controlled. Ask reception if you would like the current camera coverage explained before entering.
